The proceeds from these early enterprises allowed Tat to acquire his first goats, marking the beginning of his journey in goat farming.

At the age of 22, driven by his love for animals and respect for nature, Tat purchased his family’s farm. This bold step launched a 25-year career, during which he has consistently embraced challenges and inspired those around him to share in his successes.

Tat’s deep involvement in the development of the Savanna goat breed is noteworthy. He served as the youngest ever chairperson of the Savanna Club of South Africa for six years, the maximum tenure allowed.
